Advanced Crusher Technologies, Inc.
Brett Rose established a small company in January of 1998. The company was named Advanced Crusher Technologies (ACTECH, Inc) and had three employees. ACTECH's focus was primarily servicing aggregate producers that utilized Vertical Shaft Impact crushers and marketing wear parts to them. Starting 1993 many of the wear parts came from the Dallesport Foundry, also owned by Brett Rose.
In 1999, ACTECH began to branch out into other products and service for aggregate producers, such as screen media, crusher wear parts, power transmission and custom fabrication works. Since then ACTECH has used its innovative culture to solve problems for customers, maximize value and offer lower cost alternative solutions and components. Taking this approach ACTECH was able to double its revenue and expand its product line every until 2007, when revenues exceeded $13 million. In 2007 ACTECH was going strong with 35 employees, including five engineering staff, five outside sales people, two inside sales people, along with numerous fabrication, service and support staff.
In 2008, when the economy turned, ACTECH reduced its work force. ACTECH remained committed to offering excellent products and service to its customers with nine employees. In 2010, ACTECH slowly and selectively replenished its work force up the current 21 employees. The current staff is comprised of five outside sales people, 2 engineering staff, and numerous fabrication, service and support staff. ACTECH continually looks to enrich its workforce with the best possible people.

ACTECH's main focus of servicing the aggregate, recycling, mining, and wood waste encompasses the areas in Pacific Northwest, Alaska, Hawaii, Northern California and recently Montana and North Dakota. Within this area, ACTECH sells parts and service, design and engineering, fabrication and manufacturing.
The company designs and markets its own line of Vertical Shaft Impact crushers and support equipment. In addition to the ACTECH line of VSI's, the company distributes other lines in the region, including Lippman-Milwaukie Crushers, Trio Engineered Products, Western Wire, Metso Minerals Screen Media, California Wire Cloth, Dallesport Foundry, Unicast Foundry, Foothills Foundry, Eagle Foundry, Dodge Power Transmission Products, SKF Bearings, World Wide Electric Motors and Controls, and Precision Pulley. With all of these product lines available ACTECH has been asked to do projects in Florida, Canada and many places in between, completing them on time and under budget.
Currently ACTECH has two facilities, the original in Vancouver, WA and a second in Portland, OR. These facilities both are capable of machining, fabricating and manufacturing nearly anything that the customer should require.
Looking Ahead
In 2011, ACTECH had a good year. Currently revenues for 2012 are projecting to be between 5-10% higher, than 2011, based on the current level of customer inquires being experienced. ACTECH is also looking forward to 2012 for other reasons. During the coming year, ACTECH is looking to purchase a larger manufacturing facility in Vancouver, WA to incorporate both fabrication facilities be consolidated under one roof along, along with Clean Dump, another company owned by Brett Rose.
Two other facilities are planned to help service the growing markets in Alaska and North Dakota. A small facility with a shop and yard space in Anchorage, Alaska will provide ACTECH with a service center and location to showcase some of the product lines available to customers in the Northern Market area. ACTECH has long been committed to their customers in Alaska and the planned facility would reinforce that commitment as well as provide a great service location for customer to call upon. More recently ACTECH has been increasing its presence in the Western Montana and Eastern North Dakota Market. The Bakken Oil Deposit has allowed ACTECH to enhance the development of this region through its products. A facility similar to the planned Anchorage would allow ACTECH to further establish itself in the rapidly growing area and offer the great products and service the customers in the Pacific Northwest have come accustomed to.
The company expects to take advantage of the planned locations by expanding its regional coverage as well as entering new product markets in the years to come. Some of these markets include wood waste sugar conversion, alternative cement production, other mineral mining opportunities, and the design and manufacturing of oil well servicing equipment in the Bakken region. The excellence that ACTECH provides to its aggregate customers will undoubtedly lead success in these emerging market areas.

Dallesport Foundry Inc.
The Dallesport Foundry was built and established in 1993. The original name was the Canica Foundry and it was started in Dallesport, WA. It was later renamed as Impact Alloys and in 1997 the facility was sold and became the Dallesport Foundry Inc. The foundry was started primarily to produce chrome iron castings exclusively for Canica VSI Crushers, Inc. This continued until 1997, when it began to branch out and produce castings for all different types of impact crushers, aggregate washing equipment, and mining wear liners. Currently, the foundry continuously ships wear resistant castings throughout the US and Canada through direct sales and distributors. These castings are used by aggregate producers, recycling companies, large coal and copper mines, and many other crusher manufactures and distributors.
The Dallesport Foundry is owned by Brett Rose. The daily operation of the foundry is managed by Anthony Stout, Vice President of Dallesport Foundry and General Manager. Anthony has been working at the company since 1993. Anthony has a degree in Engineering and uses his extensive experience and education in the production of the chrome iron castings.
